Hola! Hope you’ve all had a lovely Easter/ Bank Holiday weekend/ four day weekend. I have another Weekend In Outfits for you and today you have 3 outfits. I mean I would have an outfit for today but it’s a slob day watch girly romcoms in pjs, with no makeup and hair that resembles a pineapple #FashionIcon.
On Friday night I went for a couple of drinks and to see Chicago at the Opera House Theatre in Manchester with a group of friends. Chicago was incredible, it’s made me wish I could sing and dance because being in a show would be so fun. I decided to wear a new top that I got last weekend. It’s got that french Bardot thing going on as it’s stripe and off the shoulder. It’s a dream. It is also another #FreeTheNipple situation. I paired it with a denim A line skirt that everyone and their dog owns and my go to heeled boots.
On Saturday I went out for a friends 21st birthday which resulted in a lot of cocktails. It took me all day to decide what to wear as we were going to classier places than I am used to and I don’t really own many going out clothes because 1. I’m a granny and like to be in bed at a reasonable hour and 2. I feel like a kid playing dress up when I dress more grown up.
I opted for one of my favourite pretty dresses which I have featured on my blog before. Yes, yes I am an outfit repeater like Lizzie McGuire. You know like when Kate points out that Lizzie is wearing the same dress she wore for the spring dance to graduation? ‘Only you would think that you could hide that powder blue, puffy sleeved, it’s kind of a peasant dress, but it’s really a questionable disaster of fiber content that you wore to the spring dance. Lizzie McGuire, you are an outfit repeater!’. Anyway, I love this dress so much and feel like a little doll in it.
Ps. Shout out to the random guy who told me my dress was pretty. That was sweet, thanks whoever you are.

On Easter Sunday me and the best pal went to the Chestnut Centre in Chapel-en-le-Frith to see otters. There was one that was crying to be fed and I feel like it was the otter version of me. After otters we went to a country pub for chip butties because we were a tad hungover and because we are big kids and adult food is not as fun as a chip butty with red sauce.
I love this jumper from Topshop it’s colourful but not too in your face. I did however swap my shoes in the end for my old black chelsea boots as it began to rain and these are my babies, I protect them with my life.
