This weekend has been a cracker. I have a thing for going out on Friday nights because in my mind it makes me feel like I didn’t have work on the Friday and makes the weekend feel longer. Anyone agree?
Tuesday 2nd February was my best pals 22nd birthday so this Friday our little girl gang (aka the Spice Girls, yes we refer to ourselves as the Spice Girls) went on a girls night out to celebrate. LET’S GO G.N.O? Miley Cyrus anyone? If you do not know what I am on about then watch this, relive your teens and thank me later. We went into Manchester to Tusk for drinks and a chat and then to Blackdog Ballroom for a good old boogie. I Don’t Want No Scrubs by TLC came on and we all lost our chill like our chill was lost we could not and did not find it.
Anyway, I have gone off on a tangent this post is called a Weekend In Outfits after all so I should get on to the clothes really. Friday night I decided it was time for my new and daring (well daring for me, it’s backless so going braless was required #freethenipple) to be worn.
Saturday morning me and my best pal decided that we were 100% not hungover and that it would be a waste of day to stay in a do nothing so we went to the Whitworth Gallery (more on the Whitworth in my next blog post, watch this space) and then on a coffee shop crawl to Chapter One and Foundation Coffee. Although not hungover I still wanted to be oh-so-comfy so dungarees and converse was the only way to go. I do feel like a Blue Peter presenter in this outfit but it one of my favourites at the moment.
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend and are ready for the week ahead. Just think only five days until it’s weekend again, wahoo!
